1 dead, 16 injured after residential building collapse in Mumbai
One person dead and 16 others injured following collapse of a G+2 structure at Shastri Nagar in Mumbai`s Bandra West on Wednesday night, according to Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation. The injured were transported to the hospital.
“A person who sadly died in the G+2 collapse at Shastri Nagar has declared a DOA. We send his family’s prayers and thoughts. 16 people were hospitalized with minor injuries. Awaiting reports of further injuries Rescue operations are still ongoing,”. Very few people were transported to the hospital. 34 suspects were trapped in the rubble. Rescue operations are underway. Exact numbers are expected from the hospital.
