In relation to the murder of Punjabi musician Sidhu Moosewala, the Delhi Police special cell today claimed to have detained two members of the Lawrence Bishnoi-Goldy Brar gang.
The Delhi Police have now detained five people in connection with the case as a result of the arrests of Ankit Sirsa and Sachin Bhiwani on Sunday night. Ankit was one of the shooters that killed Moosewala, according to the authorities, while Bhiwani was in charge of harbouring four shooters.
The Delhi Police have detained two additional people after discovering a fresh video that is connected to the case. After scanning the phone of the youngest gun man Ankit Sirsa, a video applauding the crime surfaced. Five males are shown celebrating the murder of Moosewala in a car while brandishing their firearms in that video. There is a Punjabi music playing in the background of the video as well.
The shooter who fired first with both hands was the youngest, Ankit of Sersa village in Haryana.
Haryana’s Sachin Bhiwani kept four gun men in his care.
Police receive four transit remands
Four suspects in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case, including two shooters, were sent to the custody of the Punjab Police on Monday by the Patiala House Courts in Delhi.
Priyavrat, also known as Fauji, Kashish, also known as Kuldeep, Deepak, also known as Tinu, and Keshav Kumar.
The court noted that because the people who had been arrested had been charged with a crime, a one-day transit remand had been granted so that they may appear before the relevant court as soon as feasible.
The judgement further stipulated that the suspects’ medical examinations must be conducted in accordance with the standards established by the Supreme Court.
They said that Haryana-born Bhiwani oversaw the Lawrence Bishnoi gang’s operations in Rajasthan. In addition, he was sought after in a case in Churu, Rajasthan. In two cases of attempted murder in Rajasthan, Ankit of the Haryana village of Sersa is also mentioned.
“The main focus of the special cell after nabbing the mastermind and learning about an international criminal plot was to apprehend those who were on the ground, and who actually killed Sidhu,” stated HGS Dhaliwal, Special CP, Delhi Police.
In six states, including Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Gujarat, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi, our squad was hunting them down. Ankit Sirsa, the youngest shooter who used both hands to fire, and Sachin Bhiwani, who was a vital supporter, were detained sunday night about 11 p.m.
Police reportedly seized three Punjab Police uniforms, 1.30 mm pistol with nine live cartridges, one 9mm pistol with ten live rounds, two mobile phones with a dongle and a SIM card, and one 9mm pistol with ten live rounds.
