Job description
The Verification and Employee Set up Specialist will support the US Payroll department in setting up high volume of new hires in the payroll system with extreme accuracy. Heavy customer support on timely responses to internal and external inquiries
Verifications:
Answers phone/email inquiries from employees and outside agencies.
Government Verification request processing response in a timely manner.
Monitor email account and respond accordingly.
Log in all email and fax verification requests, including documenting how returned (email/fax) and when.
Process and respond to subpoena/attorney/personnel record requests/wage loss verification including keeping Subpoena log current.
Opening and distribution of department mail.
EE Set Up
PeopleSoft entry and audit of inhouse new hire, re-hire and change paperwork (U.S. and Canada).
PeopleSoft entry of Affirmative Action forms.
Setup & track Union Dues Deductions.
Provide back up as follows
Review of hire/re-hire/change paperwork submitted for processing, working with requester to resolve any issues prior to set up/data entry; verify/close personnel requisitions.
Prepare & mailing of garnishment answers.
Qualifications
3 – 5 years experience.
2+ years garnishment experience required
4+ years Customer Service/ client facing experience required
6 months data entry required
