Summary

This job offers a unique and exciting opportunity to contribute in the design, development and life cycle management of Baxter’s home dialysis systems.The successful candidate will possess sound “hands-on” technical abilities, an excitement and energy for product development & engineering, and a passion for their work and the impact it has on meeting the needs of patients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Evaluate the impact on overall system or therapy of changes in Cloud applications or the IoT platform it’s connected through to the dialysis device.
Support maintenance and enhancements in IoT platform provided by third party.
Develop and refine product requirements of different levels taking User needs as inputs.
Communicate design requirements to developers and provide technical guidance as needed
Manage integration of deliverables from sub-system design teams and external partners
Resolve competing constraints between interrelated functions (engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, regulatory, marketing, etc.) required to deliver the product to market
Develop test plans, test protocols, and test reports for product integration testing
Lead development and execution of test cases for final system and subsystem verification
Document traceability from requirements to verification activities, and from requirements to design entities
Resolve systems-related technical issues by applying problem solving tools such as cause t and effect diagrams, Pareto charts, etc.
Develop and maintain an effective and corroborative working relationship with internal and external development partners
Education and/or Experience:

A graduate or a post graduate in Electrical/Electronics or Biomedical engineering discipline and 10+ years of relevant experience. Prior experience in connected medical device domain is a plus.
Qualifications & Experience:
Prior experience of working on Digital solutions and their interfaces with devices.
Understand IoT/IoT Platform, Service Architecture as to how APIs are exposed. Exposure to Cloud (AWS) and Security aspects.
Strong in one of the scripting languages Python, R or C/Shell scripting.
To be able to apply the knowledge in Systems context.
Exposure to Systems engineering areas involving Requirements creation & management, define/understand System architecture, System integration & testing, Root-cause analysis, Traceability and concepts of Reliability.
