Responsibilities

It is responsible for designing and delivering web apps, from layout to function and according to the business specifications.
The individual will be responsible for integrating data from various back-end services and databases.
The role would entail building front-end Website architecture, improving user interactions on Web, and developing necessary back-end applications
Given the growing demand for mobile apps, the individual will also be expected to support cross-platform optimization of the designed applications
At Chubb, we believe in developing reusable assets. The individual should look to develop assets that can be replicated and reused for various requirements across the business
As a developer, he/she will be involved in the project from conception to deployment
API creation and enhancement are some of the additional responsibilities
He/she will be expected to stay abreast of any advancement in the programming and Web application development space

Required knowledge, Skills and qualifications

Overall 0-3 years of Web/App development using Mendix or any RAD tool.
Experience with API /Microservice architecture (REST,JSON,XML)
Experience with Front-end languages such as HTML5, CSS and JavaScript
Strong knowledge of building Microflows/Nanoflows in Mendix 7x/8x
Development experience with JAVA would be preferable.
Experience in Data modelling and structures
Strong Analytical and Problem solving skills
In addition, the individual should have the following
Able to work under tight deadlines
Should be flexible to accommodate business requirements and work requests from different time zones
Excellent communication skills. The position requires constant interaction with stakeholders across the company.
Knowledge of insurance domain would be an added advantage
