Role

The ECL Product Manager is responsible for managing the product roadmap and timelines to complete new releases of features and functions. Additionally, the Product Manager will facilitate multi-departmental meetings to drive results, manage risks, conduct market research, and lead customer empathy interviews.

Product Manager will need to have an understanding of project management principles to identify tasks, resources, timelines and dependencies to keep projects on track. T

Responsibilities

Plans and manages product lifecycle.

Develop and drive the product roadmap

Manage the implementation of new features directly with the development team.

Manage and communicate with cross functional teams

Act as a key spokesperson for the product to customers, partners and at public speaking engagement.

Drive changes to our sales and marketing processes based on information gathered

Market intelligence be the expert on our buyers, who are they, how they buy and their key buying criteria

Understand and document our buyers process, including where they get information, and the who, what, when and why behind the decisions they make

Develop a marketing plan for the products you support in collaboration with our marketing team, including key activities and budgets to support the retention of existing customers and the acquisition of new customers

Plan the launches of net-new products and releases of existing products, and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan

Prepares product management information and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.

Desired Candidate Profile

2+ years of experience in a market-facing role in a healthcare business

5+ years of experience in an Ophthalmology or Optometry business

Proficient in productivity applications such as Microsoft Office, Project or Basecamp

Comfortable using collaboration and CRM tools such as Salesforce

Familiar with marketing automation tools such as Marketo, Pardot and Omniture, and Google

Analytics

Exceptional ROI-tracking skills, able to prove what is or isnt working

Must be a strong public speaker, comfortable in front of large groups

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Good Communication / Interpersonal Skills

Excellent Project Management skills.
