Job Description:

EFI is looking for a Senior IT Engineer in our Bangalore office. As a successful candidate you will get an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your responsibilities range from solution designing, implementing, supporting Engineering / Enterprise Applications. You will be a member of a highly dynamic and talented IT team with global foot print and work with other IT analysts, system administrators, and support personnel. You should be an independent thinker, comfortable with sharing and accepting ideas in an open manner.

Responsibilities include:

You will provide hands-on technical and functional input to design, maintenance, build, integration and testing of complex software components according to functional and technical design specifications. You will provide input to the software engineering manager for estimates, resource needs, milestones and risks; ensure effective delegation, monitoring tasks, identifying risks and handling mitigation and escalations. The candidate must be able to work independently and think out-of-the-box. The candidate is expected to work on Atlassian Stack deployment migration and administration work. The candidate should be able to know where and how to research for information and should enjoy working in a fast-paced, diverse and customer service-oriented environment.

Job Requirements:

Must possess solid English written and verbal communication skills and have an aptitude for thriving in complex situations.
Maintain and provide support for the existing in-house Atlassian infrastructure on Linux platform.
Act as the Atlassian Stack expert in troubleshooting of critical production problems as required.
Analyze and evaluate the new business requirements and define the most efficient & appropriate solutions using Confluence and Bitbucket/ Atlassian stack.
Create / update corresponding documentation / user guides. Prepare training materials and train existing users on Atlassian products.
Review and optimize existing workflows and workflow automations.
Excellent debugging, problem solving, & process implementation skills.
Follow software development methodologies and release processes
Excellent problem-solving skills, process implementation skills and skillful in handling support requests at the same time managing various projects related activities in parallel.
Perform migrations and integrations of Confluence,Btbucket instances and repositories.
Support Bug Tracking, Test Case Management, SCM and other Enterprise tools.
Lastly, you should enjoy working in a fast-paced, self-directed, diverse and customer service-oriented environment.
Desired Skills:

Proficient in Linux Operating System.
4+ years of experience in the administration of Atlassian stack applications. Preferred additional hands on knowledge in JQL, Regular Expressions, Velocity script, XML and open source technologies.
Database exposure & administration experience (MySQL, SQL, PostgreSQL).
3+ years of experience working in CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jenkins.
Proficient in Confluence, Bitbucket and Bamboo administration.
Proficient in SCM tools.
Having an Atlassian Certification is a plus.
