Job Description

We re looking for a Senior Multicloud Engineer with expertise in Technical Strategy Consulting and multiple cloud platforms (public, private, hybrid) to join the leadership group of our EY- Digital, Cloud and Advanced Engineering Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm whilst being instrumental in the growth of a new service offering.

Your key responsibilities
Perform Install, setup, maintenance and operations of OpenShift and VMware environment.
Hands on experience in IBM cloud (public) IaaS and PaaS services.
Should have experience in troubleshooting, triage calls and working with multiple teams.
Ability to work with and influence multiple stakeholders.
Strong experience (4+ years) in OpenShift, Kubernetes, Containers, Container Orchestration, VMware, Load Balancer.
Strong experience in Linux (RHEL, CentOS) and/or Unix. Experience with Windows would be beneficial.
Should have experience of DevOps, Infrastructure automation, configuration management and orchestration tools like Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet etc.
Should have experience in physical servers / VMs / RDS / VDI / Active Directory / Firewall/ Remote workstation deployments etc.
Should have good experience in services like Backup, HA/DR, Certificate Services, Auditing, Encryption etc.
Experience of public cloud, private cloud and hybrid cloud.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, commitments, create and follow SOP, Run Books and process documents.
Knowledge of virtualization technologies and vendors.
Experience of Cloud Migration, Cloud Native technologies and CNCF platform tools.
Experience in Java or .NET
Experience working in a consulting environment preferred.
Team player, ability to be able to work with virtual teams
Ability to work in a variety of client settings and platforms

To qualify for the role, you must have
BTech/MTech OR Master s in Computer Applications
6-10 years of sound industry experience.
Strong hands-on experience in IBM Red Hat OpenShift and VMware
Hands on experience in IBM cloud (public) IaaS and PaaS services
Strong hands-on experience of Kubernetes, Containers (Docker/ rkt /cri-o) Container Orchestration, Load Balancer
Deep expertise in physical servers / VMs / RDS / VDI / Active Directory / Firewall/ Remote workstation deployments etc.
Strong experience in Linux (RHEL, CentOS) and/or Unix.
DevOps, Infrastructure automation, configuration management and orchestration tools like Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet
Experience of managing, administering and troubleshooting large on prem & cloud environments and clusters.
Experience in Java or .NET
Experience of public cloud, hybrid cloud and private cloud.
Strong communication skills
