Job Description
Identity and Access Services is looking for an Manager IAM Operations, AVP to join a dynamic team responsible for implementing and managing services processes and technology to ensure that State Street maintains a strong control environment related to system access. The IAM specialist will manage a small team and will support the operationalization of the tasks to support Identity and access management controls and SailPoint operations and configuration processes. The team is responsible for monitoring the access policy violation by analyzing the data entitlement surveillance, reporting access role rationalization and/or generating reports for business applications owner or other parties. They may also complete user access requests account clean up or other special projects. The operating model is evolving over the 6-9 months so flexibility and in depth understanding of the policy and the processes is required.
The ideal candidate should have a strong experience with Business Analysis and Identity and access control management. They should be a team player who has the ability to multitask and the flexibility to adapt to changing assignments. They have a passion for technology excellent problem solving skills a positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a dynamic business and technical environment. The candidates must be able to effectively communicate with business and technology team members at all levels of the organization.
Tasks:
Manage a team of 12-15 employees and contingent workers within the SAILPOINT IAM (Manual) Operations Team and Access Monitoring and Support Team
Manage completion across multiple in scope activities according to priorities and deadlines
Complete assigned tasks completely and accurately
Provide input to define and continuously improve the processes applied to the activities performed within the SailPoint IAM (Manual) Operations
Liaise with internal governance, internal and external audits to present new processes and maintain SOPs
Track and report Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Critical Success Factors (CSF)
Assure timely corrective action is taken and at risk activities are escalated to stakeholders
Support Global Identity and Access Services to manage special projects
Bachelor s degree in related technical and/or business field required
At least 3-4 year of relevant experience in Business Analysis and Identity and access management or other information security operations team
Demonstrates ability and eagerness to learn new tasks and skills and a strong interest in new technology
Proven ability to meet deadlines and escalate issues and barriers
Experience working with offshore and other global and cross functional teams
Knowledge of logical access policies practices and procedures
Understanding of Corporate Information Security standards
Advanced understanding of MS applications with focus on data analysis (Excel) process flow (Visio) and presentations (Word PowerPoint)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and documentation skills
Self-starter who can work well independently and as part of a team
Skill-set
Experience in managing large teams (Size 10 to 20) and ability to provide technical oversight
Knowledge and experience working on IAM products like SailPoint, Microsoft AD, CyberArk etc
Knowledge in cybersecurity frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001.
Experience in managing the automation team with strong cost analysis is a plus
Experience in being an executor or control owner of SOC controls.
Managing audit engagements for both internal and external assessments.
Strong knowledge in Public key Infrastructure and its application
Strong industry connects to bring in the new ideas to the team
Should be able to manage multiple projects concurrently and to work under pressure to meet tight time commitments
Strong knowledge in IT infrastructure is a plus
Ability to innovate and re-engineering process for better customer experience
Strong analytics skill to understand the large data and provide insights to simplify the process
People motivation skills both within and beyond core team
Ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders
Strong knowledge in ITIL foundation with experience in incident, problem, and change management process
Good to have
Industry security certifications eg CISM, CISSP, CISA, CCSP etc is preferred
Ability to create learning culture in the team.
Candidate should have innovation mindset to simplify the process
Strong interpersonal skills to lead the large and diverse team
Exposure to Agile methodologies and Agile way of working
