Job description

Lead Architect in Payments , will work with an elite group of Architects within Payments. The position often entails coordinating and collaborating with different roles & other product units within Tietoevry Banking to deliver a seamlessly integrated solution to our customers.

Lead Architect in Payments will:

Provide best-fit architectural solutions for one or more Products
Participate in competency development with the objective of ensuring best-fit and high-quality technical solutions
Creating thought leadership within the area of technology specialization and in compliance with guidelines and Policies
The role requires a high level of Technology intelligence and Payments Expertise to investigate and analyze business activities to make them more efficient by using IT resources.
An understanding of customers needs in relation to the performance of the business and the provision of competitive commercial solutions.
Support finding solutions to functional problems/defects and prepare high level functional designs
Collaborate with Chief Architect & Enterprise Architect group to ensure we take right Architecture Decisions and have a seamless Modernisation Journey
Work with Tribe Leaders & Other Chapter Leads in meeting our Release Goals
Ability to collaborate with technology and business partners across Tietoevry Banking to provide strategic input into the long-term direction and roadmaps
The Expertise We re Looking For

Good Knowledge & Hands-on experience in Java Tech stack
Java and Object Oriented Design & Development with recent experience in enterprise application architecture.
Knowledge and working experience in atleast one Cloud Platform – Preferably AWS
Good Knowledge in
frameworks, architecture and product lifecycle management.
Architectural patterns, Design Patterns, UML
Experience in supporting sales processes including activities like responding to RFI/RFP from a Architecture/Technology dimension and attending presentation/workshop with customers
Good to have Banking/Payment Business knowledge
Background of Modern Cloud Native Architecture and Java based Development will be a Plus
Robust critical thinking and problem-solving skills coupled with a growth mentality and a desire to collaborate effectively with key business and technology partners across the company
Ability to work in an unstructured environment and to deal well with ambiguity
Experience working in an Agile software development framework

Is this you?

15+ years of experience in Java and open source technologies with atleast 5 years working experience as an Architect.
Have worked in an Enterprise Product Development setup
