As an Area Product Owner, you will be responsible for:
Provide functional leadership to the Squads.
Create and review detailed functional requirements, solutions, and acceptance criterias for epics together with Product Owner s and Architects.
Contribute to top level estimation together with Product Owner.
Ensure that epics are split into manageable user stories.
Create and review functional solutions and define clear acceptance criterias for each user story together with the squad.
Ensure that the functional solution and acceptance criteria for the user stories is approved by Product Owner.
Ensure detailed estimation of the user stories.
Ensuring that documentation is delivered with the content and quality that is adequate for Payments Messaging.
Prioritize the squad backlog and ensure validation from Product Owner.
Ensure that identified Epics for 1-2 Releases ahead are approved and ready to be picked in sprints.
Offering delivery predictability at respective functional area.
Ensure functional review of test cases.
Validate the development of the user stories/ epics through demos.
Together with Product Owner you will maximize the value of the product and the work of the Scrum Team. You will play an important part in supporting the Product Owner in the solutioning process finding solutions to functional problems/defects and prepare functional designs.
Valuating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement and support your teams throughout development and implementation of solutions in collaboration with the Business and Technical teams.
Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members having close interaction with APO:s and PO:s of all product areas.
We expect you to have:
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience of requirement analysis and specifications, preferably as Business Analyst and/or Product Owner.
Strong Payments/Banking domain knowledge (Corporate Payments).
Knowledge of relevant collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence).
Deep knowledge of product development methodologies (e.g., Design Thinking, Kano Model).
Excellent Written and verbal communication in English (Norwegian and Swedish is an advantage).
Understanding of systems engineering concepts.
Modeling techniques and methods.
