Roles and Responsibilities
The purpose and role of this position is to manage, develop, and execute public relations and communications strategies and initiatives both internal and external. The incumbent will design and implement strategies that cultivate our relationships with media, engage our target audience and boost our brand awareness. The role holder will engage in writing effective press releases, engage media to drive earned placements in relevant publications and use innovative ideas to drive PR initiatives that will drive long-term success. The role holder will also work closely with the Marketing Team to develop and ensure alignment of efforts to support near-term opportunities and long-term growth strategies that expand the Company’s market share.
Desired Candidate Profile
1) Minimum of 7+ years of experience in an executive communications position, serving senior executives. 2) Demonstrated track record of success in leading a corporate communications team 3) Ability to work with executive and senior management; excellent negotiation, influencing and presentation skills 4) Demonstrated track record of developing original speeches and other communications content on behalf of senior executives. 5) Excellent copywriting skills across a wide range of styles and for multiple channels. 6) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Advanced working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint 7) Experience working in a high-growth, rapidly scaling environment
