Roles and Responsibilities

Job Purpose:

Ensure seamless & proactive Supply Chain for the emerging cross-border ecommerce business serviced through pureplay marketplace(s) and thru omnichannel retailers. This would entail timely planning and execution of forecast and demand plan, ensuring delivery to owned and marketplace warehouses, and effective last mile delivery to customers via dropship. Lead the process for continuous evaluation of physical and technology infrastructure, form and lead squad teams and resolve people/process/technology challenges within aggressive timelines to ensure customer delight through exceptional service while keeping a tight control on cost-to-serve.

Key Responsibilities:

Stakeholder Management

Accountable for end-to-end Ecommerce supply chain, primarily for US geography
Act as an interface between Marketplace teams, 3PL provider, KAMs, Logistics, Global Sourcing, Plants, IT, Finance, Country teams and other supply chain functions and manage key activities to ensure efficient process governance & information flow.
Lead S&OP process for the emerging Ecommerce business across stakeholders
Coordinate with Regional Supply chain teams to ensure proper execution of the processes.
Record, analyze and follow up the dispute situations (complaints, chargebacks, returns etc.) in accordance with the credit, the sales and controlling teams, and the physical distribution.

Operations and new product launch

Identify root causes for daily operational issues (system, process, people) and implement sustainable resolutions
Create & refine SOPs for end to end OTC process and ensure adherence.
Lead new program launches by collaborating with cross-functional teams including product design, product merchandizing, sourcing, and production teams.

S&OP Process Optimization & Strategy

Accountable for key supply chain elements like Inventory Management, Order fulfilment and Warehouse management.
Strengthen back-end infrastructure by building the right capabilities around S&OP processes and enabling technologies and organization
Collaborate with KAMs, Country Demand Planners and customers to monitor and ensure customer (both marketplaces and end-customers) service expectations are met and exceeded.
Ensure periodic revision of inventory norms based on changing business scenarios and implementation of the same. Manage inventory reconciliation across multiple locations for revenue recognition. Also manage projects to reduce overall inventory ageing and faster throughput for reduced warehouse operational expense ratios.
Provide input to the Supply Planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.

Demand Planning & Fulfilment

Monitor the forecast models for different product categories, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, finance, retailer replenishment analysts, and other sources.
Evaluate the forecast results and suggest corrective measures.
Ensure that there is an uninterrupted supply of goods for operations and escalate matters if there is any threat. Ensure that stocks are available to ensure continuous supply to the customers.

Competencies /skills required

Demonstrated proficiency in forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial impact
Thorough understanding of demand planning models/platforms, Strong conceptual knowledge of the demand planning function, Inventory & Warehouse Management
Exposure to Digital logistics tools & workflows
Strategic planning and process orientation
Strong Interpersonal & Multi-tasking skills

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Should have experience of minimum 3-4 years in managing cross-border E-Commerce supply chain. 2. MBA in Supply Chain and Operation
